ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
The following are the requirements to be complied by the applicant before admission into the program:He or she must be a Masters degree holder in a business related field. The program completed must be a thesis program. If the program completed is non-thesis, the applicant admitted must take up courses in research or show evidence that he or she has had research experience.
The applicant must submit a brief description of the research that he or she will undertake as his/her dissertation. This description should include the following:
a.) Proposed Title of the Research,
b.) Statement of the Problem,
c.) Reason for choosing this topic of research, and
d.) Significance of the research to the field of study.

The Ph.D. student is required to enroll in three elective courses or an equivalent of nine units. The student may choose from the elective Philosophy courses and the cognate courses not yet taken. Aside from the dissertation requirement, the candidates for graduation must have published at least three research articles in the Journal of Business Studies of the College of Commerce before he or she will be considered for graduation. |
